The Benefits of Assisted Living at Baptist Village

December 2022

Deciding it’s time for assisted living can be difficult but finding the right community for you or your loved one doesn’t have to be. Each person has their own unique needs, and at Baptist Village Communities, we offer programs that nurture and enhance physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Assisted living is an option for senior adults who need extra support with daily living activities or assistance managing medications and health issues. In addition to providing support, assisted living empowers seniors to remain engaged in life.

Whether you need a little help with daily tasks such as medication and meal reminders, or more significant help such as bathing and dressing, we are here to provide the services you need when you need them.

Assisted living is a popular choice for residents and their families because it can improve quality of life and help people to stay healthy and active longer. Living in a BVC community means you are free to do as much or as little as you choose and live a healthy, joyful life.

Life at Baptist Village doesn’t limit you on access to many of the same luxuries and amenities you love living on your own. In a BVC assisted living neighborhood, you have your own private apartment so you never have to give up your privacy. We offer weekly chapel services, learning centers and computer access, on-site salons, daily activities, scheduled field trips, and more.

“Can I afford assisted living?”
This is a common question…as it should be. Everyone is concerned about their financial well-being. You can rest assured that BVC does everything possible to keep costs affordable. A 2021 Cost of Care Survey by Genworth showed the average cost for assisted living in Oklahoma to be $3,750. This is $550/month lower than the national monthly average for assisted living which comes in at $4,300.

Keep in mind rates vary by location within the state and by the services offered at each community. We are happy to answer specific questions about individual needs and/or specific BVC communities. Contact us today for more information.

Not a Baptist? Not a problem. You do not have to be Baptist to live in one of our communities. Residents enjoy living among neighbors in a place with a feeling of family and togetherness.
