Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a member of a Baptist church to live at Baptist Village?
No. A person does not have to be Baptist or belong to a particular church to live on our campus.
What are the age requirements?
Why choose not-for-profit?
Because Baptist Village Communities is a not-for-profit entity, we reinvest our revenue after expenses back into our communities, where it belongs. Residents have peace of mind, knowing that not-for-profit financial controls and reduced operating costs translate into lower, stabilized monthly fees. This reinforces the BVC mission and vision.
Do I pay to use the transportation services?
Are there scheduled activities?
Can I have friends and relatives over to visit? What about overnight guests?
Why do you not call your villages “retirement centers” or “nursing homes”?
One of the ways Baptist Village Communities leads the way in the aging services field is by the use of what we feel is better, more accurate terminology. To view a list of the new terminology we use, click here.
