Resident Services Representative

Position Summary

The Resident Services Representative supports resident services, serves as a family liaison and concierge, and helps set the tone for an inviting, vibrant, fun, and family-friendly neighborhood at Baptist Village of Owasso. This role assists the Neighborhood Services Coordinator in delivering a smooth day-to-day resident experience, supporting successful move-ins, and helping residents and families connect with available services and resources. With a hospitality-forward mindset and strong people skills, the Resident Services Representative helps ensure residents feel welcomed, supported, and truly at home.

General Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as an acting representative of the building and provide a welcoming, helpful presence for residents, families, and visitors.
  • Support smooth daily neighborhood operations by helping ensure services are satisfactory and resident needs are addressed.
  • Assist the Neighborhood Services Coordinator with the move-in process to create a positive transition and experience.
  • Help orient new residents to the neighborhood and community, including mealtimes, laundry facilities, mailbox locations, outing sign-ups, and general neighborhood routines.
  • Assist with checking alert necklaces and completing monthly testing for each unit.
  • Meet with residents and/or family representatives upon move-in and at regular intervals to review the Menu of Services and identify potential service needs.
  • Follow up with residents, family representatives, and the Entrusted Hearts team to ensure satisfaction with services delivered.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents and family members and proactively address concerns and issues.
  • Monitor the physical environment of the neighborhood, inside and outside, to help ensure a clean, safe, and attractive appearance of the building and grounds.
  • Assist Dining Services during mealtimes as needed to support a restaurant-style, family-friendly dining experience.
  • Prepare reports as requested.
  • Complete assigned duties documented in shift notes and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative and working independently when needed.
  • Ability to create a warm, welcoming environment for residents and families.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple requests with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items typically not exceeding 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor responsibilities.
  • Must be able to drive a Baptist Village of Owasso vehicle as needed (valid driver’s license required).

 

Physical and Work Requirements 

  • Office environment within a healthcare facility.
  • Must possess adequate sight and hearing, with or without assistive devices, to meet job requirements.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, or smell.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
