Village Manager

Baptist Village Communities, Oklahoma’s leading not-for-profit provider of senior housing and services, seeks a full-time Village Manager for our Cleveland, Oklahoma campus. POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a motivated, mission-driven person who can efficiently manage a team of 3-4 individuals and a 54-apartment faith-based senior housing community. The manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality and exceptional resident service are top-priority. Participation in organizational team leadership meetings is required.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Oversee daily operations of the campus/village in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Position Entrusted Hearts by Baptist Village (EH) as a leader in HCBS within its service area; expanding service opportunities as a result of increasing brand awareness, extending outreach, and generating referrals.
  • Mission driven with a focus on resident satisfaction and resident retention
  • Engage with the local community by occasionally participating in events and collaborating with organizations and professionals that serve our target audience
  • Cultivate partnerships/relationships with key referral sources within the community and surrounding areas
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to all inquiries and potential residents
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Publisher, and Excel
  • One year previous property management experience (preferred not required)
  • Management education and/or experience (preferred not required)
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to stand for multiple hours in duration.
  • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to that position requirements can be met.
  • Must be able to squat, bend, stretch, walk and turn.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
